German auto manufacturer Volkswagen is gearing up to unveil its high-performance SUV, the new Tiguan R-Line, on April 14. The SUV is anticipated to feature cutting-edge technologies and enhanced convenience functionalities, promising a modern and innovative driving experience.
The Tiguan R-Line SUV showcases advanced interior technology, seamless connectivity, and an elevated in-cabin experience reflecting its sporty heritage.
The cabin’s interior design exudes a modern and sophisticated approach,
featuring a 26.04 cm customizable digital cockpit. With the ability to create personalized information profiles for the driver, the newly refined cockpit layout integrates components from the fourth-generation Modular Infotainment Toolkit (MIB4), delivering a combination of style, intuitive functionality, and connectivity.
The R-Line comes fitted with a 38.1 cm infotainment system positioned at the center of the dashboard. The system will offer a redesigned menu layout and updated graphics to improve usability. Additionally, the SUV will incorporate a revamped head-up display and a multifunction driving experience switch integrated with a TFT LCD display to optimize convenience. Also, an eight-speaker audio system will provide an immersive in-car entertainment experience.
The SUV incorporates Wireless App-Connect for both Apple CarPlayâ„¢ and Android Autoâ„¢, offering options for wired connections and wireless charging. Navigation details are integrated across the infotainment system, digital cockpit, and head-up display to help drivers maintain focus on the road.
Furthermore, the Tiguan R-Line includes the IDA voice assistant and voice enhancer, allowing users to operate various infotainment functions effortlessly through natural language commands.
R-Line is poised to usher in a new era of style and functionality for Indian customers. Customers can choose to pre-book the Tiguan R-Line either at Volkswagen dealerships across India or through the official Volkswagen website. Although the official unveiling has yet to take place, the R-Line will have a modern design and practical features.
