Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam: A series of international automotive trade exhibitions opened on June 19, spotlighting Vietnam’s growing role in the global auto parts and services industry.
The event, branded as Automechanika, is co-organized by Yorkers Exhibition Service Vietnam and Messe Frankfurt (China’s Hong Kong), and has drawn more than 400 exhibitors from 16 countries and territories. Spanning over 980 booths, the exhibitions feature a broad array of products and technologies, including automotive components, electronics, maintenance services, bodywork, accessories, and customization solutions.

Major global brands such as VinFast, SPG, and Geekplus are showcasing innovations in electric vehicles, low-carbon transportation, and intelligent logistics robotics. A special ‘automotive mobility solutions’ zone explores emerging industry trends such as energy transition, new energy vehicles (NEVs), smart manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and automation.
Adding to the program are the mobility solutions conference and autoFEST, an entertainment segment designed to engage industry participants and visitors alike.
At the opening ceremony, Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, noted that Vietnam’s automotive market is among the fastest-growing in the region, with a projected growth rate of 12% by 2025. He underscored the importance of the expo as a platform for domestic and international firms to connect, share technologies, and promote investment.

Fiona Chiew, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt, described Vietnam as an increasingly attractive destination for automotive investment, highlighting the nation’s shift toward sustainable energy and industrial modernization.
The three-day exhibition is expected to welcome approximately 24,000 visitors from 40 countries and territories, reflecting strong global interest in Vietnam’s rapidly evolving automotive sector.
