Uber is offering London drivers a 50% discount on ENSO’s high-performance, ultra-efficient tires designed for electric vehicles such as the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. The EV tires are available directly through the Uber Marketplace app, giving Uber drivers easier access to affordable, environmentally friendly alternatives.
ENSO, a finalist for the prestigious Earthshot Prize, develops tires engineered to extend EV range, reduce tire-related pollution, and last longer than conventional options. The collaboration delivers both environmental and financial benefits, helping Uber drivers cut costs while supporting sustainability goals.

This marks Uber’s first partnership with an Earthshot Prize Finalist and forms part of its broader involvement with The Earthshot Prize, launched by HRH Prince William. As a Founding Partner, Uber supports climate technology start-ups by nominating innovative solutions, providing mentorship from its engineering teams, and facilitating impactful partnerships.
London has become Uber’s global hub for electrification, with nearly 40% of all miles in the city now powered by fully electric vehicles. Uber’s £145 million Clean Air Fund has already helped drivers transition to EVs, and the ENSO partnership further lowers barriers by reducing operating costs and environmental impact.

Brit Grant, Head of Electrification at Uber UK, said the initiative reflects the company’s drive to make EV adoption affordable and practical: “Uber drivers are already switching to electric vehicles five times faster than the general public, and initiatives like this help us keep up that momentum. By reducing running costs and cutting emissions, this partnership supports our commitment to a cleaner, greener future for cities like London.”
