Tata Motors, India’s premier automobile manufacturer, has unveiled the Altroz Racer, a dynamic enhancement of its celebrated hatchback. This launch introduces a robust 1.2 L Turbo petrol engine, delivering 120 Ps at 5500 rpm and a torque of 170 Nm spanning 1750 to 4000 rpm.
Dressed in a race car-inspired aesthetic, both inside and out, the Altroz Racer guarantees an invigorating driving experience. This model stands out with its comprehensive suite of features including a 360-degree camera, a 26.03 cm infotainment touchscreen, ventilated seats, and six airbags as a standard across all variants.
This model is equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox optimized for responsive handling in city drives and highway cruising. Through these enhancements, Tata Motors advances its commitment to technology and safety, setting a new paradigm in hatchback excellence.
The expansion of the Altroz line includes the launch of two new variants—XZ LUX and XZ+S LUX—and an upgrade to the XZ+OS variant, available in a range of powertrains including petrol manual, petrol DCA, diesel, and CNG, thereby offering consumers expansive choices.

The Altroz has consistently set standards in the premium hatchback market in India, achieving milestones such as the first hatchback to receive a 5 Star Global NCAP Safety rating and introducing twin-cylinder technology in CNG cars.
