Porsche has ceased offering petrol-powered variants of the Macan SUV in India, removing the Macan S and GTS models from its Indian website.
Porsche India has shared that new orders for the Macan S and GTS are no longer available. However, limited units are still available with dealers. The Porsche India website now displays the base petrol variant of the Macan, along with the electric models, which include the standard, 4S, and Turbo variants. Previously, the Macan lineup featured three petrol models and three electric versions.
Porsche started phasing out petrol-powered Macan models globally in April last year, with plans to retire them from all markets by 2026. In India, no new allocations are provided, leaving the entry-level Porsche Macan as the sole variant available for sale. The variant features a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 261 bhp and 400 Nm of torque, priced at ₹96.05 lakh.

The Porsche Macan S and GTS featured a 2.9-liter V6 turbo petrol engine, producing 375 bhp and 520 Nm of torque in the S variant and 434 bhp and 550 Nm in the GTS. The Macan S was priced at ₹1.45 crore, while the GTS carried a price tag of ₹1.53 crore. With the petrol models discontinued, the Macan Electric now serves as the brand’s entry-level SUV, offering powerful options.
Customers can select from the Macan Electric, Macan 4S Electric, and Macan Turbo Electric, with prices ranging from ₹1.21 crore to ₹1.69 crore.

Additionally, Porsche India has revised the prices across its lineup. The Porsche 911 now costs ₹9 lakh to ₹12 lakh more, while the Cayenne SUV and Coupe have seen an increase of ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh, depending on the variant. The Panamera GTS and Taycan Turbo recorded the highest price hikes, rising by up to ₹16 lakh. Meanwhile, the entry-level Taycan RWD experienced the smallest increase of ₹3 lakh.
