Mitsubishi Motors has partnered with Walser Automotive Group to open a new dealership focusing to strengthen their brand portfolio and market presence.
Mitsubishi Motors North America, (MMNA) is attracting more dealer interest after unveiling its Momentum 2030 strategic plan. Walser Automotive Group has joined as a new partner, with a new location set to open in Burnsville. This partnership represents an important advancement in Mitsubishi’s strategy to broaden its presence and revitalize its brand in the U.S. market.
The Walser Mitsubishi Burnsville dealership, located at 600 W 121st Street, previously home to Walser Experienced Autos is set to launch in early April. Employing 21 team members, this collaboration seeks to bring renewed vitality to the Burnsville community.

Mitsubishi Motors is now deploying its ambitious Momentum 2030 strategy a business plan, which includes advanced powertrains, an expanded network of dealerships, and innovative technology to improve the customer experience from purchase to ownership. The plan focuses on increasing electric vehicle options and pledges to introduce a new or updated model every year from fiscal 2026 through 2030.
“We’re excited to introduce Mitsubishi Motors to Burnsville as we continue our mission to provide an effortless car-buying experience,” said Andrew Walser, CEO of Walser Automotive Group. Founded in 1954, Walser Automotive Group runs 35 dealership locations and is known for its ‘one person, one price’ sales approach, simplifying the car-buying experience.

The newly granted Walser Mitsubishi Burnsville franchise broadens Walser’s lineup of manufacturers. The Bloomington-based Minnesota auto group also has plans for further expansion in late 2025, with a new Kia dealership in Minnetonka and the first-ever Lamborghini dealership in Minnesota, located in Wayzata.
The inclusion of Walser Mitsubishi is anticipated to elevate the visibility of Mitsubishi’s SUV and plug-in hybrid lineup. With around 330 dealership locations across the U.S., Mitsubishi is actively seeking experienced retail partners to boost its growing network.
