American EV manufacturer Lucid Motors has officially unveiled the latest variant of its flagship SUV—the Gravity Touring—adding a new model to its electric SUV lineup. The Lucid Gravity Touring was launched on Thursday ahead of its public debut at the 2025 Los Angeles International Auto Show.
The all-electric Gravity Touring is a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive SUV offering a 337-mile range and fast-charging capability of up to 200 miles in just 15 minutes. It produces 560 horsepower, accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds, and shares its platform with the more powerful Grand Touring model.
Priced from $79,900, the new trim sits below the Grand Touring, which starts at $94,900.

The Gravity Touring features Lucid’s proprietary powertrain system, with an 89 kWh battery pack. Standard features include air suspension, while a Dynamic Handling Package is available as an option. Despite its compact exterior footprint, the vehicle provides full‑size SUV interior space, accommodating up to seven adults.
Lucid’s latest launch aligns with its broader strategy to diversify beyond the Air sedan and counter weakening consumer demand after federal tax incentives expired on September 30.
According to the National Automobile Dealers Association, only 75,000 battery-electric vehicles were sold in October—a 46.7% decline from September and a 23.8% drop compared with the same month last year.

In the third quarter, Lucid fell short of Wall Street’s earnings and revenue estimates for the second period and trimmed its 2025 production outlook to 18,000 units, down from the earlier target range of 18,000 to 20,000.
Meanwhile, the company began taking orders for the new Gravity Touring SUV on Thursday, with select versions ready for immediate delivery.
