Lucid Motors has introduced its first discounts for the new Gravity SUV, offering a $3,000 discount off the price for a limited time. The company also revealed that a more budget-friendly variant will soon be available.
After facing production setbacks earlier this year due to a magnet shortage, Lucid is now recovering and preparing for a significant scale-up, with the Gravity expected to dominate its manufacturing and delivery output in the latter half of the year.
As Lucid accelerates its sales efforts, the company has introduced some of its first discounts for the Gravity SUV. According to a report by Electrek, in an email to community members near its Cherry Creek studio in Denver, Colorado, the company announced a $3,000 incentive—the first of its kind—for the Gravity model. The limited-time offer applies only to the four vehicles currently available at that studio, all ready for immediate delivery. While the deal is exclusive to that location, Lucid is also advertising Gravity lease options starting at $1,299 per month online, which include a $2,000 Loyalty Offer.

Currently, the Gravity Grand Touring is the sole trim listed on Lucid’s website, starting at $94,900. By year’s end, the company plans to introduce a more budget-friendly option—the Gravity Touring—priced from $81,550. Lucid describes the Gravity as the ‘ultimate uncompromising SUV,’ boasting up to 450 miles of range, a spacious interior comparable to a Chevy Suburban, and the performance spirit of a sports car.
Lucid will keep offering the $7,500 EV tax credit for Gravity buyers until the end of the year. The Lucid Air also comes with a $7,500 Air Credit and an additional $2,000 Loyalty or Conquest bonus. To qualify for these incentives, Lucid requires customers to take delivery by October 31.
