Kia Corporation is gearing up to reveal the much-anticipated Kia EV4, Kia PV5, and the Concept EV2 in Spain on February 27th during Kia EV Day. The EV2 concept will showcase Kia’s new entry-level model for global markets, while the EV4 seems to be a coupe-SUV comparable in size to the Seltos and additionally, the PV5 van will debut as the first Kia model to feature the company’s PBV (Platform-Beyond-Vehicle) platform.
Kia’s EV2 concept is poised to be their new base-model electric vehicle, possibly taking the place of the Picanto hatchback in global markets. Preview images show a compact crossover design with a baby blue exterior and a contrasting black roof. Vertical headlights mark the front end, complemented by a protective lower plate, while rugged plastic trim runs along the bottom section. The rear lighting features distinctive Y-shaped units with depth. Technical specifications aren’t finalized yet, but the EV2 is likely to use Kia’s E-GMP platform with 400V technology. The price point hasn’t been disclosed, it is likely to be priced competitively in the market.

Kia’s EV4 production model will launch as a coupe-styled SUV matching the Seltos in size. The front design incorporates vertical headlight units and robust plastic side cladding. The roofline slopes toward the rear, with a unique design that includes a divot below which the rear windshield is situated. The back end displays curved boomerang taillights and includes a subtle raised section on the trunk forming a spoiler. Built on the E-GMP platform, the EV4 aims to strike a balance between performance and efficiency. The complete technical details remain unreleased, the EV4 will offer a range well-suited for urban and suburban driving, with pricing targeted at the mid-level market segment.
The PV5 electric van, set to be the first Kia model built on the company’s PBV platform. The vehicle adopts a clean, geometric shape with two-tone exterior coloring, featuring S-patterned front lights and slim vertical rectangular lights at the rear. This versatile van is designed to serve both private users and commercial customers with its adaptable and economical characteristics.

Kia has released a teaser video of the upcoming electric SUVs ahead of their global unveils. The highlight will be the debut of the production-spec Kia EV4, built on an updated version of Hyundai Motor Group’s e-GMP architecture. The EV4 is expected to be a coupe variant of the EV3, which debuted globally last year.
