KG Mobility unveiled the exterior of its electric pickup truck ‘Mousso EV’ from the integrated pickup brand Musso, the first electric pickup in South Korea. The automaker combines pickup strength with electric power balancing traditional pickup capability with electric sophistication, addressing the contemporary market needs.
KGM’s Musso EV showcases unified deck-body construction with an extended wheelbase that amplifies its sturdy look. Its front features a bold, angular hood and dynamic black grille, complemented by distinctive rear lighting and a commanding KGM badge that reinforces its presence. The pickup provides versatile adaptable accessories – Deck Top, Roof Flat Carrier, Skid Plate, Deck Divider, Roll Bar, and Sliding Bed – enabling buyers to configure according to their requirements.

“The Musso EV implements a simple and clean design for details such as lights and grille to match the image of an electric vehicle, while maintaining the sturdy body unique to pickups.” A company official stated. KG Mobility claims that the Pickup EV combines the toughness with the innovative appeal of electric vehicles, incorporating practical designs throughout. The side layout merges the cargo space and body into a unified whole, giving the vehicle a solid appearance with its extended wheelbase.
The tough roof structure ensures dependable heavy-load capacity, substantial fender line and side garnish enhance its rugged appeal. The tactically positioned C-pillar garnish creates visual distinction between the cargo area and passenger cabin, imparting a sense of proportional balance.

The Musso EV signifies a crucial step by electrifying the pickup segment, which has long been defined by its focus on utility and durability. As South Korea’s first electric pickup, it effectively combines the efficiency of electric vehicles with the practicality of pickups. The vehicle’s extensive customization options enable owners to suit their varied needs.
KG Mobility, previously known as SsangYong Motor Company, is renowned for its SUVs and pickups. The recent rebranding shift towards electric vehicles highlight its dedication to sustainability and innovation. The Musso EV launch reflects the current trends in customizable automotive design and advanced technology integration.
KGM is now offering purchase consultations and accepting pre-orders for the Musso EV at dealerships nationwide, taking a proactive step to engage market interest.
