Jameel Motors, a leading global mobility solutions provider, has signed a distribution agreement with Geely Auto to introduce Geely’s new energy passenger vehicles (NEVs) to the Italian market. This move marks a major achievement for both companies as they enter a new European market, following Jameel Motors’ recent success in securing a similar agreement in Poland earlier this year.
The agreement was won through a competitive selection process involving both domestic and international firms. Italy, one of Europe’s most prominent automotive markets, shows strong potential for electric mobility. In the first five months of 2025, electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle sales accounted for 11% of the market, a 132% year-on-year increase in EV registrations, underscoring rising consumer demand for sustainable transportation.
Jameel Motors Italia aims to address this growing demand by delivering advanced automotive technology, premium-quality vehicles, and superior customer service. The company plans to launch two Geely models in the final quarter of 2025, which are the all-electric EX5 SUV and a new plug-in Super Hybrid SUV. Both models are built on Geely’s advanced modular architecture, offering premium design, high safety standards, and strong performance, backed by a six-year warranty.

As part of its long-term strategy, Jameel Motors Italia will develop a nationwide dealer network, aiming to establish approximately 100 sales and service outlets across Italy.
Fady Jameel, Vice Chairman of Jameel Motors, stated, “This marks an exciting new chapter for Jameel Motors as we expand into Italy, one of Europe’s most high-potential automotive markets. Our collaboration with Geely Auto brings together innovation, quality, and a shared commitment to a more sustainable mobility future.”
Moe Wang, Vice President of Geely Auto International Corporation, highlighted the strategic nature of this expansion: “With the in-depth cooperation with Jameel Motors, Geely Auto will fulfill its mission of providing green, intelligent, and convenient mobility solutions, and comprehensively enhance consumers’ mobility experience.”

Jasmmine Wong, CEO of Jameel Motors, commented, “This is an incredible opportunity at a time when the market has become increasingly dynamic due to the green transition and rapid technological change. The ability to innovate, listen to the customer, and anticipate trends will be our strength.”
Jameel Motors Italia will be led by Marco Santucci, a veteran executive with nearly 30 years of experience in the Italian automotive industry. Having held leadership roles at Ford, Toyota Motor Europe, and most recently as President and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover Italy, Santucci is recognized for his strong leadership in innovation, marketing, and customer engagement.
“With Geely Auto’s cutting-edge technology and Jameel Motors’ customer-first approach, we are well-positioned to deliver real value to the market,” said Santucci. “Remaining flexible and open to change will be key to ensuring success and generating a positive impact for both the market and our customers.”
