The Haval Dargo, Great Wall Motor’s (GWM) first light off-road SUV for the Uzbek market, recently made its grand entrance at a spectacular launch event in the capital city. This marks the fourth model from the Haval brand to debut in Uzbekistan.
The Dargo’s unveiling, accompanied by impressive lighting and stage effects, captivated the audience. One attendee remarked that the Haval Dargo’s modern and aggressive appearance will certainly make it stand out among many cars.
Vyacheslav, director of the Haval brand in Uzbekistan, presented the first Dargo customers with their vehicles and certificates, expressing gratitude for their support. The first Dargo owner in Uzbekistan shared his excitement, stating, “I am honored to be the first owner of the Haval Dargo in Uzbekistan. Its excellent off-road performance and stylish appearance were the main reasons I chose the Dargo.”
Ms. Tian Lili, Regional Market Director of Great Wall Motor, highlighted the brand’s growth since its establishment in 2005, noting that Haval has gained over 9 million global users and is nearing 10 million in global sales. The Dargo alone has amassed over 500,000 loyal users worldwide, with monthly sales often exceeding 10,000 units. Its light off-road capabilities offer a luxurious urban driving experience while being an excellent choice for outdoor adventures and off-roading. Ms. Tian Lili expressed confidence that the Dargo would become a popular choice in Uzbekistan’s automotive market.
Great Wall Motor is committed to enhancing high-quality overseas operations and implementing a global ecological strategy. The company is actively promoting the development of localized production capacities, transitioning from product export and trade to overseas manufacturing. The Haval Dargo, locally produced in Uzbekistan since June 26th, follows the M6, H6, and JOLION as the fourth Haval model manufactured in the country.
The successful launch of GWM’s KD factory project in Uzbekistan has facilitated the transfer of advanced industrial capabilities, integrated into the local industry, created job opportunities, and expanded production to better meet overseas market demands.
Since entering the Uzbek market in October 2023, Great Wall Motor has focused on deepening localization efforts and working with local distributors to leverage these advantages. Moving forward, GWM plans to accelerate the introduction of new products and support the development of Uzbekistan’s automotive industry, further solidifying its global presence and commitment to international growth.
