The E5 sets itself apart from competitors with an array of self-developed technologies. Geely has equipped the SUV with intelligent electric drive systems, a short blade battery, and CTB (Cell-to-Body) technology. Its dimensions—4615 mm long, 1901 mm wide, and 1670 mm high, paired with a wheelbase of 2750 mm—provide superior comfort and performance, positioning the E5 as a standout in its category.
Jerry Gan, CEO of Geely Auto Group, made headlines by announcing plans to share the core technology behind the E5’s hidden door handle unlocking system with the broader automotive industry, aiming to elevate safety standards across the sector.
Geely’s overseas sales grew by more than 67% year-on-year in the first half of 2024, reaching 197,428 units. As the E5 prepares for its global debut, expectations are high for this model to accelerate Geely’s expansion into international markets, reinforcing its leadership in the electric vehicle space.
