Dacia has unveiled the Duster Cargo, a light commercial vehicle that combines the rugged appeal of the award-winning SUV with the practicality businesses need for demanding work environments.
The new model offers a robust flat load area with 1,149 liters of space and a payload capacity of up to 430kg. Converted at the factory and homologated as an N1 commercial, it retains Dacia’s three-year, 60,000-mile warranty, with customers also eligible for an additional year of coverage under the Dacia Zen program, subject to servicing conditions.
Dacia’s technicians have replaced the rear seats with a flat wooden load floor, separated from the passenger cabin by a mesh bulkhead. A removable load cover, opaque rear window film, four lashing points, and rubber mats provide extra security and protection for cargo.

Available in a single, well-equipped Expression trim, the Duster Cargo includes 17-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, roof bars, tinted windows, automatic wipers, and wheel-arch protection made of Starkle, a tough, recyclable material. Inside, it offers a 7-inch digital driver display, a 10.1-inch Media Display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, air conditioning, electric parking brake, adjustable seating, and extensive storage.
The Duster Cargo is offered with two electrified petrol powertrains. The hybrid 155 pairs a 109 bhp petrol engine with two electric motors, a 1.4 kWh battery, and an automatic electric gearbox. It allows significant all-electric driving in urban settings, always starting in electric mode and benefiting from regenerative braking.

The mild hybrid 130 features a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a 48V motor, reducing fuel use and emissions by around 10%. In this version, the powertrain is combined with a 4×4 transmission, Dacia’s new 4×4 Terrain Control with five modes, Adaptive Hill Descent Control, and 217mm ground clearance for all-terrain use.
Safety and driver assistance features are comprehensive, including six airbags, cruise control with speed limiter, traffic sign recognition, Intelligent Speed Assist, lane keep assist, driver attention warning, advanced emergency braking, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, and emergency e-Call.
