Chery Corporate Malaysia is allocating RM2.2 billion to establish the Chery Smart Auto Park within the Beringin High-Tech Auto Valley, which will be developed by Legenda Beringin Holding. Chery Corporate Malaysia and Legenda Beringin Holding have inked an agreement to construct the Chery Smart Auto Industrial Park at Beringin HTA Valley in Hulu Selangor.
This five-year investment represents the initial stage of development within a 323.75-hectare ecosystem at Beringin HTA Valley, with the goal of introducing world-class automotive manufacturing and cutting-edge technology to Hulu Selangor.
The automaker’s Smart Industrial Park will occupy 80.9 hectares within the planned integrated township of Beringin HTA Valley, which aims to become a hub for skilled workers, economic growth, and technological advancement.

According to Chery International’s president, Zhang Guibing the facility is expected to be operational by 2025, starting with a yearly production target of 100,000 vehicles. The plant has been designed with the capability to triple its output to 300,000 units annually. The initial phase of the Chery Smart Auto Industrial Park in Malaysia is anticipated to create between 1,500 and 3,000 new job opportunities.
The agreement was signed by Chery International president Zhang Gui Bing and developer Legenda Beringin chairman Chia Song Kooi. The event was attended by the Crown Prince of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, who also serves as the Royal Patron of Invest Selangor.
