CATL unveiled NING Space, the world’s first new energy experience center, a groundbreaking step in the global e-mobility revolution. Located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, this innovative facility provides an all-encompassing platform for consumers to explore, select, and learn about electric vehicles (EVs), setting a new standard for the automotive industry.
The creation of NING Space is a collaboration between CATL, leading automotive manufacturers, and the local government, resulting in a 13,000-square-meter complex housing nearly 100 models from around 50 car brands. This perpetual auto show offers consumers a comprehensive collection of the most popular EV models, streamlining the process of comparison and selection.
Li Ping, Vice Chairman of CATL, emphasized the transformative nature of this project during the opening ceremony. He elaborated that, global energy landscape and consumer expectations are rapidly evolving. NING Space serves as a critical link between automakers and consumers, driving innovation and fostering mutual growth.
NING Space transcends traditional showrooms by integrating educational elements. EV experts are stationed throughout the facility, ready to provide tailored recommendations based on individual needs and preferences. The center also offers insights into the evolution of electric vehicles and the latest advancements in battery technology, accompanied by science workshops designed to engage and educate users of all ages.
Luo Jian, General Manager of CATL’s Marketing Department, highlighted the facility’s distinctive approach. He noted, NING Space is dedicated to helping automakers effectively present their vehicles while empowering consumers to make informed decisions. Our commitment to a low-carbon future is reflected in every aspect of this space.
Coinciding with the launch of NING Space, CATL introduced ‘NING SERVICE,’ an after-sales service brand that elevates the EV ownership experience. Supported by 112 professional service stations and a comprehensive training program, NING SERVICE delivers top-tier services such as battery maintenance, health checks, and mobile rescue, ensuring reliability for EV owners.
To complement the physical experience, CATL launched a WeChat mini-program tailored for EV users. This digital platform offers services ranging from charging station navigation to vehicle selection guidance and educational content on new energy technologies, enhancing the consumer experience with a blend of online and offline services.
