BYD partners with Mega Motor to commence vehicle deliveries in Pakistan, signaling official market entry.
BYD in collaboration with Mega Motor Company (MMC), has begun delivering vehicles in Pakistan, representing the nation’s shift toward eco-friendly transportation. As a dominant force in new energy vehicle (NEV) production, BYD’s entry signals a pivotal moment for sustainable mobility adoption in Pakistan.
The launch of deliveries kicked off this week, with both companies targeting distribution of approximately 100 vehicles during the initial 48-hour operational period. To support this rollout, MMC has set up dedicated BYD Experience and Care facilities in key urban centers across Pakistan, including Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.

BYD and MMC’s launch of the SEAL and ATTO 3 models, along with new centers, shows confidence in Pakistan’s evolving auto market. With rising interest in new energy vehicles, the alliance plans to open 15 facilities throughout 2025, improving access to eco-friendly transportation options across the country.
During the event, BYD Pakistan’s Country Head Lei Jian expressed pride in contributing to Pakistan’s development, stating that BYD remains committed to uplifting lives through tech innovations. He affirmed the company’s confidence that their NEVs and technologies will considerably advance Pakistan’s environmental sustainability goals.

Last month, BYD successfully dispatched its inaugural batch of electric vehicles (EVs) to Pakistan. The shipment was handled by the Karachi Port Trust at the Karachi International Container Terminal. This follows BYD’s official market entry in August 2024, when the company held a launch ceremony at Lahore’s Expo Centre.
In October 2024, Mega Motor Company, a subsidiary of Hub Power Company, entered into a partnership with BYD Auto Industry, establishing an agreement to produce, promote, and distribute BYD vehicles throughout Pakistan. The collaboration encompasses technical licensing provisions, paving the way for increased investment in the country’s growing electric vehicle sector.
