Blink Charging, a leading global provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment and services, has announced the acquisition of Zemetric, a Silicon Valley-based EV charging infrastructure company known for its advanced, high-reliability solutions tailored for fleets and high-usage locations. The deal, which involves the purchase of 100% equity in Zemetric, is expected to close on or before July 11, 2025, pending customary closing conditions.
Founded in 2022 by a team of transport electrification experts, Zemetric has rapidly made a mark in the EV sector by offering hardware, software, and services engineered for scalability and interoperability. The company exceeded its baseline projections in its first year of commercial operations and has become a notable player in fleet electrification and intelligent energy management.

“Zemetric is a future-ready organization with innovative tech solutions and expertise in high-utilization EV charging and intelligent energy management,” said Mike Battaglia, President and CEO of Blink Charging. He highlighted that Zemetric’s intelligent and flexible Level 2 (L2) charging product will enhance Blink’s existing lineup as the company continues to evolve a more connected and profitable charging ecosystem.
Zemetric’s leadership team will join Blink, bolstering its executive capacity. Zemetric Founder and CEO Harmeet Singh will serve as Blink’s new Chief Technology Officer. Singh brings prior experience from Shell and Greenlots, offering a strong background in EV tech and energy systems. Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Bonnie Datta will become Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Operations. At the same time, Co-founder and Engineering Head Kapil Singhi will take on a senior role in global charger development.

Commenting on the transition, Singh said, “We are proud to have created a charging company that focused on making the ICE to EV transition an easy button for our customers, and we look forward to writing the next chapter with the electrification-first team at Blink.”
The acquisition follows a strategic search process conducted with support from Brightsmith Group, an energy transition-focused executive search firm. The move aligns with Blink’s broader strategy to expand its footprint in high-demand charging sectors and further its mission of developing open, intelligent EV infrastructure.
