Audi’s China-exclusive brand, AUDI, has revealed the exterior of its second production vehicle, the E7X. Manufactured in partnership with SAIC, this all-electric premium SUV is tailored specifically for the Chinese market. It blends Audi’s renowned engineering expertise with advanced local digital innovations, aiming to appeal to China’s technology-driven consumers.
The AUDI E7X brings the design cues of the earlier AUDI E SUV concept. Its exterior showcases a bold, monolithic look with a tall front end and vertically stacked digital Matrix LED headlights set within a black, wraparound frame. With short overhangs and contoured wheel arches, the SUV highlights an athletic posture while maintaining a roomy cabin and an upscale presence.

The E7X is built on the Advanced Digitized Platform, designed to deliver top-tier electric performance. At launch, it will come in two powertrain options to match different driving needs. The standard version offers 300 kW (around 402 hp) and is expected to use a single-motor rear-wheel-drive layout.
The higher-performance model produces 500 kW (about 670 hp) and is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, preserving the dynamic driving character typical of Audi. Although battery specifications were not disclosed, the platform supports fast charging and long-range capability, optimized for China’s infrastructure.
The E7X marks the second model under the ‘AUDI’ brand, following the debut of the AUDI E5 Sportback.

The collaboration relies on a shared development framework, with teams based in both Germany and China. Leveraging the Advanced Digitized Platform, the partners have shortened development cycles, allowing the rapid integration of intelligent connected vehicle (ICV) technologies essential for meeting China’s premium automotive market expectations
The AUDI E7X will be unveiled at the Auto China 2026 motor show in Beijing, with its market launch scheduled for the first half of 2026.
