Kia has officially launched the 2023 facelifted Seltos in India, boasting improved exterior styling, added features, and a new turbo-petrol power option. The South Korean automaker will open bookings for the revamped SUV to existing Seltos owners starting July 14, 2023, through the new K-Code program. Other potential buyers can place their orders from July 15.
The updated Seltos features an enlarged ‘Tiger Nose’ grille and redesigned LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), which extend into the center of the grille. A modified front bumper and tri-element fog lamps add to the SUV’s fresh look.
One significant change in the 2023 model is the inclusion of the 18-inch alloy rims previously exclusive to the X-Line trim, lending a beefier stance to the Seltos. The rear sees the introduction of modern connected tail lamps and an adjusted bumper, completing the updated design. The Seltos will continue to be offered in three trims: Tech Line, GT Line, and X-Line.
The revamped interior showcases dual 10.25-inch integrated displays, consisting of the touchscreen infotainment system and fully digital driver’s display, mirroring the design of the EV6. Accommodating these enhancements, the central AC vents have been slimmed down. A new black/tan interior color scheme has also been introduced, supplementing the existing all-black and black/beige options.
Kia has enriched the Seltos with additional features, including a panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake with auto hold, dual-zone climate control, and notably, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The SUV retains popular features such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a wireless phone charger, connected car technology, ventilated front seats, drive and traction modes, a Bose sound system, and a heads-up display.
For safety, the new Seltos comes equipped with six airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. These upgrades reflect Kia’s ongoing commitment to uniting style, technology, and safety in its vehicles.
