A 15-storey glass tower in Singapore has drawn widespread attention for functioning like a high-tech vending machine for luxury cars.
Built by Autobahn Motors, the structure houses more than 60 high-end vehicles, including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, and Bentleys, all stacked vertically behind a full-height glass façade.
The tower resembles a life-sized display case, reflecting Singapore’s push to maximize limited space with innovative design.

Customers begin the process at a touchscreen panel on the ground floor, where they can select a vehicle, view videos, and request a test drive. Once a car is chosen, an automated lift system retrieves it from the upper levels and brings it to the ground within two minutes.
The concept is intended to create a fast and seamless buying experience that differs sharply from traditional showrooms. The tower also showcases classic and vintage models, attracting collectors as well as supercar buyers.
The building has become a tourist attraction in its own right due to its futuristic appearance and automated retrieval system. Its visibility and operational efficiency have prompted interest from developers exploring similar technology for parking and car-storage solutions in space-constrained cities.

Photos of the tower circulating online have prompted varied reactions. Some commenters questioned how the paperwork process works, while others noted Singapore’s strict car-ownership policies and high fees, which can exceed SGD 100,000 before purchasing a vehicle.
Users also joked about vending machines for car keys and the possibility of paying with a debit card, while others pointed out the financial hurdles of owning a car in the city.
The tower continues to draw visitors who are interested in both its engineering and the vehicles on display, underscoring its dual appeal as a commercial facility and a technological showcase.
