Stellantis brought together more than 80 technology and manufacturing partners at its Factory Booster Day to showcase over 100 new innovations aimed at improving efficiency, reducing downtime, and advancing AI-driven digital transformation across its global production network.
Anna Valeria Anllo, Head of Global Innovation for Vehicle Process Engineering, said the event represents the culmination of a year-long effort to identify manufacturing challenges directly from plant managers and shop-floor teams.
These needs are then shared with supplier networks, and the most promising solutions are selected for presentation to develop proof-of-concept projects in the following year.

“We collect all our biggest challenges from the plants, and we send them out to our supplier network. We then pick the best solutions, presented at our Factory Booster Day, to hopefully move forward and produce these proof of concepts next year,” she said.
Tim Fallon, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Stellantis Production Way, highlighted the central role of artificial intelligence in the company’s future manufacturing strategy. He said the event demonstrates how rapidly evolving AI technologies are being integrated into real operations.
“We all know about the evolution of AI innovations and how these are continuing to evolve and drive our business. And this is a great showcase of how we are integrating that, working with our partners to solve real-world problems,” Fallon noted.

While Stellantis has a strong base of roughly 500 existing suppliers, the event also gave a platform to start-ups outside its traditional partnerships. Of 50 start-ups invited to participate in the innovation process, 10 were chosen to pitch their solutions.
Anllo said this approach ensures a broader pool of new ideas. “Stellantis Venture Studio identifies startups in the global network that can really help us find these key tailored solutions to our challenges. We’re not just relying on the main suppliers, we’re really getting young, fresh talent involved,” she said.
The company says the Factory Booster Day supports its wider transformation strategy as it scales next-generation manufacturing systems across its plants worldwide, reflecting Stellantis’ commitment to innovation in the era of software-defined and electrified vehicles.
