Mazda has unveiled Mazda Charging, a new app designed to make public electric vehicle charging simpler, smarter, and more reliable for its customers. Launched alongside the all-new Mazda6e, the service reflects the company’s broader commitment to providing a seamless electric mobility experience.
Developed in partnership with Zurich-based autoSense, a specialist in app-based charging solutions, Mazda Charging will be operated and managed by autoSense across Europe. By selecting a European partner, Mazda aims to ensure the best possible user experience for its European customers. The company also confirmed that more features are planned, including cost-optimized charging and green energy integration.

“Charging your Mazda should feel just as effortless as driving it,” said Martijn ten Brink, CEO of Mazda Motor Europe. “With Mazda Charging, an app will be launched that’s intuitive, convenient, and integrated into Mazda customers’ everyday journeys.”
The app provides seamless access to hundreds of thousands of public charging stations across Europe. Drivers can view real-time charger availability, power levels, and transparent pricing, while starting, stopping, and paying for charging sessions directly within the app. Multiple local languages and currencies are supported, with flexible payment options available and no subscription required.

Mazda Charging is available as a dedicated, Mazda-branded app and can be downloaded immediately. Once registered, users can add a payment method and begin charging. For additional convenience, an RFID card will also be available, enabling charging without a smartphone. In-app support is offered by autoSense to ensure assistance whenever needed.
Whether for city commutes or long-distance journeys, Mazda Charging aims to bring clarity and confidence to every charging session, further advancing Mazda’s transition toward an electrified future.
