Harley-Davidson has announced plans to launch a new entry-level motorcycle globally by 2026, marking a major expansion of its product portfolio. The upcoming model, named Sprint, is expected to be priced under $6,000 and will first debut in the United States before reaching international markets.
The development was confirmed by Harley-Davidson CEO Jochen Zeitz during a recent earnings call. Zeitz revealed that the Sprint has been in development since 2021 and is now ready for market introduction. Alongside the Sprint, the company is also preparing to introduce another entry-level cruiser to its global fleet.

Reflecting Harley-Davidson’s iconic design language, the Sprint will feature bold styling with an aggressive road presence. It will be a small-displacement motorcycle aimed at delivering an accessible yet spirited riding experience.
Describing the new model, Zeitz said, “It is inspired by our heritage and the spirit of the iconic Harley-Davidson Sprint motorcycle. This new bike embodies boldness, irreverence, and fun, capturing the rebellious energy that defines the Harley-Davidson experience.” He also noted that the motorcycle would be presented to the company’s global dealer network in October.

Zeitz further highlighted the strategic importance of the new model: “We believe this motorcycle will not only be highly accessible but also profitable, marking a significant step forward in driving Harley-Davidson’s future profitable growth and opening up a new path in the motorcycle segment for the company in future years for its key markets.”
The 2026 launch signifies Harley-Davidson’s renewed focus on tapping into new customer segments while reinforcing its global presence.
