Hankook, the premium tyre manufacturer, introduces the Dynapro HPX, a tyre engineered to set new benchmarks in safety, comfort, and durability for SUVs and all-wheel-drive vehicles. This innovation is poised to meet the diverse demands of drivers across Europe and North America, where performance in varied conditions is paramount.
The Dynapro HPX represents a significant leap in tyre technology. With a newly developed material mix and an enlarged contact surface, it ensures uniform tread wear and extended mileage—crucial factors for SUVs and all-wheel-drive vehicles. The enhanced design offers a 15% reduction in braking distance on wet surfaces compared to its predecessor, the Dynapro HP2. The addition of 3D GripControl sipes, which maintain their shape under load, further improves wet handling by 7%, delivering exceptional grip and stability in challenging driving conditions.
Addressing comfort without sacrificing performance, the Dynapro HPX features a cutting-edge tread design aimed at reducing noise. Knurling technology within the grooves narrows the air path, effectively minimizing rolling noise. The outer tread blocks, optimized in both number and size, contribute to a quieter and smoother ride—essential for the demanding SUV market.
Sanghoon Lee, President and COO of Hankook Tire Europe, highlighted the significance of this new tyre: “With the Dynapro HPX, we are presenting the newest member of our tyre family, which is specifically designed for the different requirements of SUVs and all-wheel-drive vehicles. We are proud to be able to offer our customers a tyre with very high mileage, without any compromise on comfort and safety.”
Tailored for the European and North American markets, the Dynapro HPX promises reliable performance across several terrains and weather conditions. Available in sizes ranging from 16 to 19 inches, this tyre has been available at retailers since June, offering drivers a new level of confidence on the road.
