Peugeot has announced the integration of ChatGPT artificial intelligence across all its models, a pioneering move following a successful pilot phase.
Innovative Integration
As one of the first car manufacturers to incorporate ChatGPT, Peugeot enhances the driving experience with advanced AI. Integrated into the i-Cockpit and activated by the voice command ‘OK Peugeot,’ this feature provides a wide range of innovative services and information.
Expanding AI Capabilities
Following trials with over 10,000 customers, Peugeot is rolling out ChatGPT across its latest models: New 208, 2008, 308, 308 SW, 408, 508, 508 SW, RIFTER, TRAVELLER, PARTNER, and EXPERT. The New 3008 and 5008 will join by year-end.
Widespread Availability
ChatGPT will be available in 17 European markets, supporting 12 languages. Starting today, customers in Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, and the United Kingdom can access ChatGPT in new and existing vehicles via over-the-air updates. By the end of July, the service will expand to Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
Enhanced Driving Experience
The Peugeot i-Cockpit now features ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI, offering a sophisticated and intuitive interface. Users simply say “OK Peugeot” to interact with the AI, which provides practical and entertaining services. Whether answering complex questions, guiding drivers, or entertaining passengers with quizzes, ChatGPT significantly enhances every journey.
Subscription Model
ChatGPT is part of the Connect Plus pack, complimentary for the first six months from the warranty start date and then available by subscription at €12/month or €120/year. Existing customers can add the feature for €1.5/month or €15/year.
Revolutionizing Voice Command
Peugeot’s integration of ChatGPT transforms voice commands in vehicles, making information access interactive and intuitive. This innovation positions Peugeot as a leader in automotive AI, offering unparalleled benefits to drivers and passengers.
