GAC Motor Philippines is expanding its footprint, inaugurating its latest dealership in San Fernando, Pampanga. This strategic move, a collaboration with Autokid Motors, marks a robust commencement for the second quarter of 2024 under the auspices of Astara Philippines, the brand’s distributor.
Strategically situated along the bustling Olongapo-Gapan Road in Brgy. Magliman, the new GAC Motor San Fernando dealership adheres to stringent international showroom standards. The facility promises a superior automotive buying experience and is equipped to provide exemplary vehicle maintenance and services, embodying a fully operational 3S (sales, service, and spare parts) model.
Franz Decloedt, GAC Motor Brand Head at Astara Philippines, highlighted the importance of this new site. “Today’s opening of GAC Motor San Fernando is truly a landmark occasion. It highlights the mutual dedication of Astara Philippines and Autokid to strengthen GAC’s brand presence, especially in Pampanga. Together, we are driven to empower Filipino families, enterprises, and communities through the state-of-the-art and high-performance vehicles of GAC Motor, such as the recently launched luxury M8 MPV and the family-friendly M6 Pro,” Decloedt noted.
Spanning 1,500 sqm, the dealership features a showroom capable of displaying up to six vehicles, allowing GAC Motor to fully exhibit its impressive vehicle lineup. The service area includes eight work bays equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and a stock of genuine parts, ensuring efficient and reliable service.
Kevin McHale Yao, CEO of Autokid Motors, expressed enthusiasm about the venture. “We are thrilled to expand our presence in Central Luzon with the opening of GAC Motor San Fernando. We’re all about delivering top-notch cars and service, and with our proven experience in distributing top-quality automotive brands, we’re here to make sure every customer gets more than just a car—they get a fantastic experience,” Yao stated.
The launch of GAC Motor San Fernando forms part of a broader strategy to establish a network of 35 dealerships across the Philippines by the end of 2024. Future openings are planned for Congressional Avenue and Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City, as well as Guiguinto, Bulacan, and Subic, Zambales.
